2025 NHL playoff race tracker: Where things stand in each conference with two spots clinched so far

The NHL regular season is wrapping up with the campaign set to conclude on April 17. As a result, Postseason races are really heating up atop the divisions and for the wild card spots.

Reminder: Here’s how the NHL Postseason seeding works

  • The top three Clubs in All division automatically qualify for the playoffs.
  • All conference has two wild-card spots.
  • The top division winner in All conference will Action the second wild card Club, and the other division winner will Action the Primary wild card Club.
  • The second and third-place Clubs in All division will Event up with one another in the Primary Stage.

*Regulation wins are the Primary tiebreaker, and regulation plus Extra period wins are the second tiebreaker. Shootout wins are not counted in regulation plus Extra period wins.
