Kohli has played eight ICC finals so far for the Indian men’s cricket team across formats, and in 10 innings, he has 410 runs to his name with the help of three half-centuries.

Virat Kohli will be a key player for India in the final of the Champions Trophy 2025, which is set to take place at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday (March 9) in Dubai. The 36-year-old right-handed batter is in red-hot form these days, and with one century and one fifty to his name, he has scored 217 runs in four matches played so far.
The former Indian captain hammered 100 runs from 111 balls against Pakistan in the 242-run chase on February 23 in Dubai, and in the semifinal against Australia at the same venue on March 4, he scored 84 runs from 98 balls to help the Men in Blue chase down the target of 265 runs in 48.1 overs for the loss of six wickets.
The Indian team management and fans will have high expectations from Kohli once again in the final against New Zealand, and the right-handed batter would like to live up to the reputation by coming up with another big show.

ODI World Cup 2011: 35 vs Sri Lanka in Mumbai (April 2, 2011)
In the final of the 2011 ODI World Cup, Virat Kohli came out to bat at No. 4 for India at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai and scored 35 runs from 49 balls with the help of four fours. He added 83 runs for the third wicket with Gautam Gambhir (97 runs) to help the Men in Blue make a comeback after losing Virender Sehwag (0) and Sachin Tendulkar (18) inside 6.1 overs in the 275-run chase.
Champions Trophy 2013: 43 vs England in Birmingham (June 23, 2013)
Kohli top-scored for India in the final of the 2013 Champions Trophy, which was played against England at Edgbaston in Birmingham. In the rain-hit match, Kohli scored 43 runs from 35 balls as a No. 3 batter to help the MS Dhoni-led side post a total of 129/7 on the board, which in the end proved to be enough to win the match by five runs.
2014 T20 World Cup: 77 vs Sri Lanka in Dhaka (April 6, 2014)
In the final of the 2014 T20 World Cup between India and Sri Lanka, Kohli scored 77 runs from 58 balls at Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka but failed to help the MS Dhoni-led side win the title. India posted a total of 130/4 in 20 overs, and Sri Lanka chased down the target of 131 runs in 17.5 overs for the loss of four wickets.
Champions Trophy 2017: 5 vs Pakistan at The Oval (June 18, 2017)
Kohli was dismissed for five runs from nine balls by Pakistani pacer Mohammad Amir in the final of the 2017 Champions Trophy played at The Oval on June 18, 2017. In that match, Pakistan, after posting a total of 338/4, bowled India out for 158 in 30.3 overs to secure a memorable win by 180 runs.
2021 WTC: 44 and 13 vs New Zealand in Southampton (June 18-23, 2021)
India faced New Zealand in the final of the inaugural edition of the World Test Championship at The Rose Bowl in Southampton from June 18 to 23 in 2021. In the rain-hit match, then-India captain Kohli scored 44 runs in the first innings and 13 in the second. None of the Indian batters were able to deliver with the bat in that match, and as a result, India went down by 8 wickets.
2023 WTC: 14 and 49 vs Australia at The Oval (June 7-11, 2023)
India suffered a humiliating defeat by 209 runs against Australia in the final of the 2023 World Test Championship played at The Oval from June 7 to 11 in 2023. Kohli was only able to score 14 runs from 31 balls in the first innings, and in the second he made 49 runs from 78 balls with the help of seven fours.
ODI World Cup 2023: 54 vs Australia in Ahmedabad (November 19, 2023)
Kohli scored 54 runs from 63 balls for Men in Blue in the final of the 2023 ODI World Cup against Australia. During his stay at the crease at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on November 19, 2023, he hammered four fours and added 46 runs for the second wicket with Rohit Sharma (47 from 31 balls) and 67 runs for the fourth wicket with KL Rahul (66 runs from 107 balls).
2024 T20 World Cup: 76 vs South Africa in Bridgetown (June 29, 2024)
Kohli top-scored for India in the final of the 2024 T20 World Cup played against South Africa at Kensington Oval in Barbados on June 29, 2024. He hammered six fours and two sixes during his stay at the crease and helped India post a total of 176 runs, which in the end proved enough to secure a win by seven runs. For his superb show with the bat, he won the Player of the Match award in the 2024 T20 World Cup final.
Overall, Kohli has 410 runs to his name in 10 innings of eight ICC finals played so far across formats in the last 14 years.
