The match rewrote the record books, witnessing the highest-ever team total of 225/5, the most runs in a single WPL match (438), the most boundaries (71) in any WPL game, highest individual score (99*) and most runs in one single over (28).

RCB had won the toss and opted to bowl first, hoping to capitalize on early breakthroughs. However, UP Warriorz’ batters had different plans. Grace Harris’ quickfire 39(22) provided a flying start, followed by Kiran Navgire’s explosive 46 off just 16 balls. The star of the innings was Georgia Voll, whose unbeaten 99 guided UP to a formidable total of 225/5.

Chasing a massive target, RCB had a shaky start but showed glimpses of hope. Sabbhineni Meghna scored a brisk 27 before wickets started tumbling. The match turned exciting when Richa Ghosh hammered 69 off 33 balls, reviving RCB’s chances. In the penultimate over, Sneh Rana’s stunning cameo of 26 off just six deliveries, including a flurry of boundaries, kept RCB in the hunt. Kiran Navgire played a devastating knock of 46 off just 16 balls, smashing two fours and five monstrous sixes. She showcased her power-hitting in the 10th over against Georgia Wareham, launching consecutive sixes—one over long-on and another straight down the ground. Her most destructive phase came in the 12th over against Renuka Singh, where she hammered 22 runs, including two massive sixes over deep square leg and midwicket. Richa Ghosh was RCB’s top scorer, delivering a blistering 69 off just 33 balls with six fours and five sixes. Walking in at 76/3, she wasted no time, slamming back-to-back boundaries through cover off Anjali Sarvani. She accelerated with towering sixes, including a powerful strike over long-off and a commanding slog over midwicket. Reaching her half-century in just 25 balls, Ghosh kept RCB in the contest with her aggressive stroke play. However, her innings came to an end in the 17th over when she mistimed a heave off Deepti Sharma, finding the fielder at deep midwicket.

Sneh Rana – 26(6)

Sneh Rana produced a breathtaking cameo, smashing 26 off just six balls with two fours and three sixes, nearly pulling off a stunning comeback for RCB. She started by swinging across the line for a four, then she stepped down the track and launched back-to-back sixes—one clean into the sightscreen and the next over deep midwicket. Sophie Ecclestone – 3/25(4)

Sophie Ecclestone delivered a crucial spell for UP Warriorz, finishing with impressive figures of 3/25 in her four overs. She provided an early breakthrough by deceiving Sabbhineni Meghana with flight and dip, forcing a mistimed lofted shot straight to long-on. Later, she outfoxed her England teammate Charlie Dean with a well-directed full toss, inducing a scoop straight to short fine leg. Ecclestone capped off her spell by dismissing Georgia Wareham, who attempted to clear cover but found the fielder instead.
