Oleksandr Usyk vs Tyson Fury simulation ends in brutal KO as heavyweight splattered into ropes after five knockdowns

Oleksandr Usyk’s rematch with Tyson Fury is fast approaching, but a simulation has already determined the outcome.

Usyk and Fury will meet in an illustrious second heavyweight meeting this weekend in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, six months on from their first enthralling clash.

The Ukrainian dealt with Fury in their first meeting, picking up the undisputed world titles on a split decision, despite threatening to close the show in the ninth round.

A previous simulation had backed the Briton to get the job done by stoppage, but with the sequel fast approaching, the virtual version of this encounter has predicted an entirely different outcome.

Proceedings began at an electric pace with both fighters starting frantically, an outcome that will be deemed unlikely given their traditional chess-match like approaches.

Both men were landing barrages but Usyk took the upper hand as he began to upload a big combination early on.

After just a minute and a half, Usyk threw a brisk left hand, before following up with a right hand which saw Fury slump to a knee.

The early knockdown saw Fury managed to beat the count, though his defence on the ropes was facing a similar fate to in the first meeting.

He failed to recover and it was only a matter of time until the next onslaught as Usyk marched forward.

A crunching right hand hit the mark again, and it knocked Fury’s gumshield out and sent him crashing to the canvas this time.

It appeared Fury would have no way back, but in what appears to be a realistic method, the Briton was able to climb his feet and show his incredible powers of recovery again.

But incredibly just 20 seconds after beating the count for a second time, Usyk landed the same right hand again as things turned wild.

Fury dropped to a knee again, and would likely have been close to being stopped in a real fight.

But once more he made it to his feet and was able to survive the whitewash round.

Despite regrouping in his corner and appearing recovered at the start of the second, things continued in a devastating manner.

He found himself flat on his back for a fourth time, but again somehow scrambled to his feet.

Usyk clearly sensed the end was near and moved the relentless attack to Fury’s body, showing no sign of fatigue with wild aggression.

A double left hook to the body was blocked by Fury, but the third crushed into the rib cage and left the conquered champion sprawled into the ropes.

This time Fury couldn’t beat the count, and after a brief attempt to get back up, his resolve deteriorated and the fight was stopped.

It would be a genuinely absurd outcome should this happen, given the fight would likely have been stopped if it happened.

Fans will be hoping for a repeat of their first thrilling encounter, and a much more even contest is expected.

Fury is the slight underdog given how the first fight unfolded, and Usyk will hope he can make make a defence of his titles and preserve his undefeated record.
