Premier League Darts 2025: What has been said?

Welshman Gerwyn Price has admitted he’s fallen back in love with darts again just in time to take part in the Premier League.

Speaking exclusively to talkSPORT.com, he said: “Like I said I had time off, not that I wanted to.

“I had a little bit of a break, I missed out on the Grand Slam not qualifying for that.

“It gave me a lot of time to reflect on what I was doing if I was playing darts, and there isn’t much to do.

Gerwyn Price explains why he made U-turn over playing in Premier League

“If I wasn’t in the Premier League, I’d be stuck in the house bored out of my skull.

“So it’s best to be out on the road again, and back doing it on the big stages in the Premier League.

“Being out of tournament gives you a lot more time at home and a lot more time to think.

“If I wasn’t in the Premier League this year and I was given three months to think, I’d have been a bit gutted about it.

“I’m looking forward to it now, and things change as time goes on.”
