Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen took home his first MVP award and Jacksonville Jaguars defensive end Arik Armstead was named the Walter Payton Man of the Year at this year’s NFL Honors on Thursday.
The Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2025 was also announced on Thursday.
Allen had a tremendous season, throwing for 3,731 yards and 28 touchdowns while adding 531 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns on the ground. He narrowly beat Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson and Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley for the award.
Naturally, fans debated the winner on social media afterward.
While the players were the main focus of the night, Snoop Dogg brought prime entertainment as the event’s host.
