Pakistan had a poor outing with the ball first as they gave up 320 runs as bowlers failed to take timely wickets. With the bat, too, it wasn’t a great effort either, as they ended up getting all out for 260 runs. Babar Azam hit a fifty, but it was very slow, which put pressure on others.
Salman Agha (42) and Khushdil Shah (69) fought hard but the target was too much for them to chase. The same fate unfolded for them in the India game. They went on to lose the game by 6 wickets, which marked their second straight loss.

With the ball, Pakistan failed to put pressure on India, who were sensational with the bat. Virat Kohli slammed an unbeaten century while Shreyas Iyer also hit a fifty. Shubman Gill played a valuable innings of 46 runs as India chased the target with 6 wickets in hand.
