Cooper Kupp landing spots: Best fits for All-Pro wideout set to be released if Rams can’t find trade partner

Wide receiver Cooper Kupp was on the trading Stop, but the Los Angeles Rams’ plan has changed. General manager Les Snead is planning to release the 2021 NFL Offensive Player of the Year on Wednesday at the start of the new Division year if the Rams can’t find a trade partner, per ESPN. 

The Drive for the Rams to dump Kupp and save $7.52 million in cap space likely increased after they signed three-time Primary-Club All-Pro wideout Davante Adams to a two-year, $44 million contract with $26 million guaranteed on Sunday.

The Seattle Seahawks desperately need help at the wide receiver position after cutting Tyler Lockett and trading DK Metcalf to the Pittsburgh Steelers within the past week. The Chargers could use another receiver to fill out their line alongside 2023 Primary-Phase Choice Quentin Johnston and 2024 second-Phase Choice Ladd McConkey after the Buffalo Bills lured away Josh Palmer in Unoccupied agency on Monday. They also have the second-most cap space in the NFL ($93.8, per Spotrac), so they could outbid anyone for Kupp. Plus, they’re a Club that Created the postseason last year with a fun, Recent Signal-caller in Justin Herbert, and Kupp wouldn’t even have to move.
