Gerwyn Price fell at the Primary Encumbrance again last week against Rob Cross. Along with his two wins in this year’s Premier Division, Price has now lost in the quarter-Closing five times.
MVG is the exact opposite to Price. He has zero night wins, but has only lost twice at the quarter-Closing stage, last week to Aspinall (6-5) and on the Number four night to Rob Cross (6-5).
If nothing else, MVG is Steady in the Primary Stage.
We know what Gerwyn Price can do. If he beats MVG, he will probably Secure the night. But we can’t back ‘The Iceman’ given the recent form of both players.
