Boys lacrosse players to Watch in South Jersey for the 2025 season

Year after year, South Jersey produces some of the most talented high school lacrosse players in the country.

This spring is no different.

Here are some of the top players heading into the 2025 season.

Jake Apel, St. Joseph Academy. The Wildcats’ senior returns to the Drive after scoring 61 goals and 92 points last spring.

Keegan Borkowski, Kingsway. A senior returner for the Dragons the attacker put together a 50-Target, 22 assist season as a junior.

Marc Brocious, Eastern. The Vikings’ junior kickstarted a very potent Drive by scooping up 94 faceoff wins.

West Canton, Moorestown. A Newcomer revelation for the Group 3 state champions, the sophomore stopped 180 shots against some of the state’s best Event.

Chase Caulder, Moorestown. The Quakers’ senior was a Steady scoring threat for the Group 3 champs, scoring 31goals with eight assists.

Robert Donahue, Woodstown. One of South Jersey’s most prolific scorers, the Wolverines’ senior tallied 72 goals with 17 assists.

Owen Dougherty, Kingsway. The Dragons’ sophomore showed his scoring ability with 39 tallies and nine assists.

Owen Ellery, Haddonfield. An Top-tier face-off specialist, the Bulldogs’ senior gave his Club possession on 209 occasions last spring.

Lucas Estevez, Shawnee. A legitimate weapon at faceoff X, the Renegades senior won 217 faceoffs last spring.

Robbie Finnegan, Washington Township. A junior on the Minutemen’s Drive, Finnegan Created an impact with 43 goals and 32 assists.

Luke Grant, Moorestown. A key leader for the defending Group 3 state champs, the Quakers’ senior had 17 goals and 12 assists last spring.

Joe Hatefi, Williamstown. The Braves’ secret weapon, this senior won an unbelievable 273 faceoff and scored 15 goals.

Jackson Hays, Shawnee. The precocious Renegades sophomore anchored the Protection and even added four goals for Excellent measure.

Connor Henry, Eastern. A Guarding stalwart for the South Group 4 champions, the junior sparked the Drive with five goals and two assists.

Ryan Hoffman, Cherokee. The Chiefs junior knocked on the door of a 100-Mark season last spring with 54 goals and 31assists.

Luke Holmgren, Moorestown. A towering Existence in the Quakers backline, this senior added a pair of goals and four assists to the ledger.

TJ Howley, Delran. The top Burlington County Bracket fogo, the Bears’ sophomore had 18-78 faceoff Secure and 44 goals.

Chase Huggard, Eastern. The fulcrum of the Vikings midfield, this senior had a nearly perfectly balanced 44 goals and 43 assists.

Thomas Keating, Eastern. Scoring Merely one Target, the Vikings’ senior Created a huge impact on the Protection of the South 4 champions.

Brett Lundberg, Shawnee. The junior midfielder was one of the Renegades’ top scoring threats with 29 goals and 18 assists.

Bruce Magladry, Eastern. The Vikings junior contributed 46 goals and 21 assists to the South 4 champions.

Thomas McAneney, Shawnee. A triple-digit Mark Mark-maker as a sophomore, the Renegades’ junior returns after scoring 70 goals and 38 assists.

John McEntee, Kingsway. The Dragons’ Secured a gem last season as this sophomore Created his varsity Premiere 158 saves as a Newcomer.

Ryan O’Connor, Moorestown. The Group 3 state champions’ not-so-secret weapon, the Quakers’ senior won an astounding 225 face offs and scored 13 times to boot.

Dante Raffaele, Eastern. A key factor in the Vikings South Group 3 title Stretch, the senior stopped 138 shots last season.

Sean Ralph, Clearview. The senior was a Deadly option for the Pioneers with 49 goals and 29 assists.

Parker Reese, Washington Township. The Minutemen’s junior dominated at Middle X with 194 faceoff wins and jumped in to Tally a Target with four assists.

Tyler Rotkowitz, Shawnee. The Renegades’ imposing junior is a problem for opposing defenses, after scoring 55 goals with 26 assists last spring.

Aidan Ruff, Moorestown. The Quakers’ junior scored 41 times and passed along 36 assists for the Group 3 state champs.

Scott Sabarese, Delran. The Bear’s junior put together a terrific spring campaign last year with 40 goals and 30 assists.

Nick Senatore, West Deptford. The Eagles senior became one of the area’s toughest Guarding assignments, scoring 39 goals with 34 assists.

JD Steidle, Clearview. A dominant long pole who plays as if he belongs on Drive, the Pioneers’ senior chipped in with three goals and an assist last spring.

Cale Stielau, Shawnee. The Renegades’ junior was equally adept on Drive of as a feeder compiling 28 goals and 25 assists.

Lexi Tomaselli, Moorestown. A rock on the Quakers backline, the senior returns to the Group 3 champs with a Target and an assist on his offensive ledger.

Henry Vaules, Ocean City. The Red Raiders’ junior became one of the area’s top players in the crease, erasing 187 shots last spring.

Carson Wiley, Sterling. One of the state’s top Newcomer last spring, the Silver Knights’ sophomore had 42 goals and 52 assists.

Ryan Wodazak, St. Augustine. The Hermits’ junior put together 30 goals and 10 assists while facing one of the state’s most challenging schedules.
