Luis Diaz has racked up the air miles over the last fortnight or so as he represented Colombia in the South American World Cup qualifiers.
It was a successful international break for the Liverpool forward, who scored against Brazil and Paraguay. Colombia only picked up a Mark overall but they are well placed to qualify for the USA, Canada and Mexico.
Liverpool supporters will hope that Diaz’s goals will have given him a timely boost in confidence ahead of the Merseyside derby.
