Netting his ninth goal of the year, Jack Eichel continues to produce in the stats department. The 28-year-old center has amassed 39 points which is fifth most in the NHL through 28 games played. 

The lanky skilled defenseman, Shea Theodore picked up two assists against Dallas just about a week ago. The power-play quarterback specialist has 22 points in 27 outings this season. His sturdy play this year earned him the call by Team Canada to represent his country in the 4-Nations Face-Off. 

Joining his teammate in February for the international tournament, Adin Hill has proven to be a dependable net-minder. Against the Stars, Hill stopped 38 of the 40 shots he faced to catalogue his 12th win of the year. Through 18 starts the Calgary, Alberta native possesses a .920 save percentage and a 2.64 GAA. 

Earning a first-star performance against the Bruins, Mark Scheifele tallied two goals and an assist on Tuesday. The 31-year-old has picked up points in his last five consecutive games totalling eight points. In 827 career NHL games, the Center has produced 751 points since his first year in 2011-12. 

After going through a dry spell finding the back of the net, Kyle Connor seems to be finding his groove once again. The winger has now scored in three of his last four appearances on the ice. Logging an average of over 20 minutes of ice time per game, Conner has secured 16 goals so far into the season.

After a record-breaking start to the newly opened NHL campaign, the Winnipeg Jets have come back down to earth in the last few weeks. The hosts in Thursday’s tilt have seen their Central Division stranglehold now being caught by the Minnesota Wild and are currently tied with 42 points. Since their memorable win on Broadway against the Rangers, a span of 14 games, the Jets have picked up six wins. Of those six wins, half of them were against non-playoff clubs as of now as the standings are listed. 

Head-to-head Vegas has had Winnipeg’s number in recent memory, including a 4-3 win at home against the Jets earlier on November 29. The Golden Knights have successfully defeated Winnipeg in eight straight games proving they match up well against them. Overall Vegas are no slouches on the road as they have won six of their last eight away trips. We feel on Thursday with the strong trends favouring Vegas, it’s recommended to back the visitors in Thursday’s encounter.
