The latest season of Women’s Premier League 2025 gets underway from Friday, February 14 with five teams taking part. In the tournament opener, Royal Challengers Bengaluru take on Gujarat Giants in Vadodara.

For the first time in WPL history, the competition will be played across four venues. The Royal Challengers Bengaluru will head into the tournament as the reigning champions after defeating Delhi Capitals by eight wickets in the 2024 final to win their first-ever crown.

WPL 2025: Format

The WPL 2025 campaign will see five teams compete for the women’s T20 crown. The franchise tournament will feature 20 group matches. Each participant will face the other team twice throughout the campaign. The top-placed team will secure a direct spot in the final. The second and third-placed squads, whereas, will compete in an elimination game to determine the other finalist.
